Adult Rower
Adult Learn to Row - Winter Erg Session 1 - Classes are open to anyone interested in rowing over the age of 18.

Who: 6th–8th grade athletes of all experience levels (8th grades can also choose to participate in the club program)

- Age appropriate athletic development (includes strength & conditioning with 1607 coaches)

Youth Club Team - Spring Season -
Who: 8th - 12th grade athletes new to the sport or interested in participating for fitness and enjoyment without a high-pressure competitive environment. This program is also ideal for athletes who want to race but cannot commit to the time and attendance expectations of the Performance Team.
Registration Note: All incoming 8th graders and novice rowers should register for the Club Team. Coaches will evaluate and may invite interested athletes to move to the Performance Team when appropriate.

- Introduce and develop rowing skills.Encourage fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Provide racing opportunities, but with a more recreational or developmental approach (add’l regatta fees apply).
Youth Performance Team - Spring Season -
Who: 8th - 12th grade athletes serious about committing to a competitive sport.
Qualifications:
Who: 8th - 12th grade athletes serious about committing to a competitive sport.
Qualifications:
- At least one Fall or Spring season of Club Rowing
- No more than 3 unexcused absences
- Exceptions may be made by the Head Coach. Coach may also move a Club athlete up to fill seats if necessary
- Prepare athletes for higher level youth racing (e.g., being competitive at local/ regional/national championships, collegiate recruitment).
- Participation in Regionals/Nationals is the goal, with lineups dependent on speed, skill, and coach discretion
- Build advanced technique, strength, endurance, emphasize performance metrics (erg scores, race results).
- Strong club representation in all age categories (Youth, U17, U16, U15) at Mid-Atlantic Regionals/Nationals
