Adult Rower
2025-2026 Winter Training - Welcome to the Rocketts Landing Winter Training 2025-2026 Team! You do NOT have to be a VBC member to join this team. Practices will incorporate options for competitive or recreational athletes, injury prevention circuits, stretching, and optional weight training. Tuesday and Thursday evenings: 5:45-7:45 p.m, and Saturday mornings 7:45-9:45 a.m. First session is Thursday, Nov. 13th. Fee is $125.00. Join and attend when it fits your schedule!
2026 Robious Learn to Row (LTR) - This is an adult Sweep Learn to Row for inexperienced rowers. This class will consist of sessions Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings starting Saturday, May 16th. Start time on weekdays is 6 PM and on Saturdays at 8 AM. Session length is approximately 2 hours. Classes will be held at Virginia Boat Club's Robious Landing Boathouse, 3800 James River Road, Midlothian, VA 23113. The Learn to Row program fee is $350. When you register you will be asked for the VBC registration code: 703519

This class will consist of sessions Monday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings starting Saturday, May 16th. Start time on weekdays is 6 PM and on Saturdays at 8 AM. Session length is approximately 2 hours. Classes will be held at Virginia Boat Club's Rocketts Landing Boathouse, 4708 Old Main Street, Richmond, VA. In case of inclement weather, classes will be held indoors. The Learn to Row program fee is $350. When you register you will be asked for the VBC registration code: 703519

College Summer Membership - This is for undergraduate college students that are in Richmond for the summer months. The fee is $150 for 3 months and allows use of club equipment at both boathouses, based on skill level. To join the organized/coached sweep sessions, an additional fee is required. VBC General Membership - Join Virginia Boat Club. Annual membership dues are $400 for individuals and $640 for families. New members who join after mid-year are assessed dues at a decreased rate depending upon when they join. Renewing members are assessed the full amount regardless of when during the year that they renew. There are no refunds for members who terminate membership before the end of the year.
