2027 January Spring Crew Tryouts - Spring season January tryouts are open to all Conestoga students grades 9–12, and no prior rowing experience is required.

Spring rowing at Conestoga starts with January Tryouts, an introductory period designed for both new and returning athletes. Students learn the fundamentals of rowing, train together, and get to know the coaching staff and team environment. This period also gives coaches the opportunity to assess work ethic, commitment, and willingness to learn — not prior experience or baseline fitness. 

Following tryouts and team placement, athletes then register for the Spring Crew Season, which includes land training, on-water practices, and racing on Philadelphia’s historic Boathouse Row.

Schedule JV/Varsity: Tuesday – Friday: 4:15 PM - 6:30 PM Saturday - Sunday: 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM
